The show is amazing and full of excitement on Sunday’s S97 RACING Brno Round. At the Czech circuit, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) scores her first win in the Women’s European Championship and Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) takes her fourth European title in the women’s category.
The Spanish rider of the Trasimeno team finds redemption in Race 2 after Saturday’s bad luck due to a problem and climbs onto the top step of the podium, winning by only 41 thousandths over Beatriz Neila Santos. The Team 511 driver was second, but that was enough for her to become champion again. Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) shows solidity and is third also in Race 2, although with a wider gap from the first two.
Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse) misses the podium for a little and she is fourth in front of Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA), fifth. Behind the Roman rider, Lena Kemmer (Bertlkr Racing) gets her best result of the season and is sixth. The Israeli Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) is seventh ahead of Mia Rusthen (Trasimeno), eighth. Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing) and Maria Saluste (Motoclub Sinilind) close the top 10, in ninth and tenth respectively. Race 2 was difficult for Sara Sanchez (511 Racing team), who suffered a technical problem when she was in the lead. Jessica Howden (Trasimeno) crashed.
The S97 RACING Brno Round has also came to an end! Now the WEC recharges its batteries ahead of the next round. We are back to Italy to race at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello from 1st to 3rdSeptember.
Natalia Rivera – Winner
“The team and I are very happy because we have worked a lot during this weekend and set good times on a new track for me. Luck didn’t help us yesterday, I had a problem with the bike when I was leading by a margin, but the team worked to fix everything and today we saw the result of all the job done. I am very happy with them, I want to thank them and also say thank you to my family”.
Beatriz Neila Santos – 2nd place
“I didn’t feel comfortable from the very first lap, but we worked hard until the end. The race went well, and I was able to run the times I wanted. Taking away the difficult weekend, I am delighted to have won again. I adapted well to my new team and the bike, I want to thank my family who were always with me and the team who welcomed me straight away”.
Roberta Ponziani – 3rd position
“It was a good race again today, although it was tougher than yesterday because I had a bad start and I lost the front group. I was hoping to do better, but it’s OK. I started with a lot of problems, and two third places are good. I’m happy, I thank the team, thank everyone”.

Prima vittoria per Rivera in Gara 2, Santos Campionessa WEC nell’S97 RACING Brno Round
Grande spettacolo e tante emozioni in questa domenica dell’S97 RACING Brno Round. Sul circuito ceco, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) centra il suo primo successo nella Women’s European Championship e Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) conquista il suo quarto titolo europeo della categoria femminile.
La pilota spagnola del team Trasimeno trova il riscatto in Gara 2 dopo la sfortuna di sabato a causa di un problema e sale sul gradino più alto del podio, vincendo in volata su Beatriz Neila Santos. La pilota del team 511 è seconda per soli 41 millesimi, ma le basta per laurearsi ancora campionessa. Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) mostra solidità ed è terza anche in Gara 2, anche se con un distacco più ampio dalle prime due.
Sfiora il podio Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse), quarta davanti ad Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA), quinta. Alle spalle della pilota romana c’è Lena Kemmer (Bertlkr Racing), che conquista il suo miglior risultato della stagione ed è sesta. L’israeliana Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) è settima e precede Mia Rusthen (Trasimeno), ottava. Chiudono la top 10 Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing) e Maria Saluste (Motoclub Sinilind), nona e decima rispettivamente. Gara 2 difficile per Sara Sanchez (511 Racing team), che accusa un problema tecnico quando è al comando. Cade Jessica Howden (Trasimeno).
Anche l’S97 RACING Brno Round si è concluso! Ora la WEC ricarica le batterie in vista del prossimo appuntamento. Si torna in Italia per correre all’Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello dall’1 al 3 settembre.

“Sia io sia il team siamo molto contenti perché abbiamo lavorato molto durante questo fine settimana e abbiamo fatto dei tempi buoni su una pista nuova per me. La fortuna ieri non ci ha aiutati, ho avuto un problema alla moto quando ero in testa con margine, ma la squadra ha lavorato per sistemare tutto e oggi si è visto il risultato di tutto il lavoro fatto. Sono molto contenta di loro, voglio ringraziarli e dire grazie anche alla mia famiglia”.
Beatriz Neila Santos – 2^ posizione
“Non mi sono sentita a mio agio sin dal primo giro, ma abbiamo lavorato molto fino alla fine. La gara è andata bene e sono riuscita a girare sui tempi che volevo. Togliendo il weekend difficile, sono contentissima di aver vinto ancora. Mi sono adattata bene al mio nuovo team e alla moto, voglio ringraziare la mia famiglia che è stata sempre con me e alla squadra che mi ha accolto subito”.
Roberta Ponziani – 3^ posizione
“È stata una bella gara anche oggi, nonostante fosse più dura di ieri perché sono partita male e ho perso il gruppo delle prime. Speravo di fare meglio, ma va bene così. Ero partita con tanti problemi e due terzi posti vanno bene. Sono contenta, ringrazio il team, grazie a tutti”.
