Imola awaits! The Women’s European Championship is ready to end its 2023 season at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, where the sixth weekend and tenth round of this thrilling campaign will take place. The title battle is already over, but the adrenaline not, obviously. 

Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) comes to Imola as reigning champion, after she got her fourth European title in a row. The second position too is consolidated, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) is runner up, but the fight is great: the third place is in contention among three Italian girls, who will run in their home race. Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) is third ahead of her teammate Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA) and Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse). 

Behind the Italians we will see an amazing show, the same that our girls offered during all the season and will keep offering in Imola too. Spain, Israel, Norway, South Africa, Poland… The starting grid is so international, with confirmations e news. So, for the last round of the season, two wild cards from South Africa will race in Imola: Abigail Bosson will join the Trasimeno team and Savannah Woodward will be in the GP3 AD11 team. 

We will start on Friday with the two free practice sessions, while on Saturday at 18:15 the qualifying will define the starting grid. The Virus Power Imola round will end on Sunday, with the race that starts at 10:40.

14th-16th July | Round 7-8: Autodrom Brno (together with AAFIM Europe) 

1st-3rd September | Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello (together with CIV) 

6th-8th October | Autodromo Internazionale “Enzo e Dino Ferrari” di Imola (together with CIV)

È il finale di stagione! WEC pronta per il Virus Power Imola round

Imola ci attende! La Women’s European Championship è pronta a concludere la sua stagione 2023 all’Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, dove questo fine settimana si terrà il sesto weekend, decimo e ultimo appuntamento di quest’anno entusiasmante. Il titolo è stato assegnato, ma non mancherà di certo l’adrenalina. 

Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) arriva a Imola da campionessa in carica, dopo aver conquistato il suo quarto titolo europeo. Consolidata anche la seconda posizione in campionato, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) è vicecampionessa, ma la lotta è ancora da vivere: a giocarsi il terzo posto saranno tre pilote italiane, che combatteranno proprio in casa. Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) è terza davanti alla compagna di squadra Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA) e a Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse). 

Anche alle spalle delle italiane non mancherà lo spettacolo, che le nostre ragazze ci hanno regalato durante tutta la stagione e che continueranno a offrirci anche a Imola. Spagna, Israele, Austria, Norvegia, Sudafrica, Polonia… Tanta internazionalità in griglia di partenza, con conferme e novità. Proprio in occasione dell’ultimo round della stagione, infatti, saranno presenti due wild card. A Imola gareggeranno due sudafricane: Abigail Bosson correrà con il team Trasimeno e Savannah Woodward vestirà i colori del team GP3 AD11. 

Si comincia venerdì con le due sessioni di prove libere, mentre sabato alle ore 18:15 vanno in scena le qualifiche che definiranno la griglia di partenza. Il Virus Power Imola round si concluderà domenica con la gara, che partirà alle ore 10:40.
