Believing and investing in the future, diving into projects that become a great reality: this is MotoXRacing, which races in the Women’s European Championship with Martina Guarino, helping her to realize her dreams. The team, led by Sandro Carusi, plays a fundamental role in the championship, where it is working hard to build a solid basis for women to find their place in motorsport.

The commitment to the WEC is important for MotoXRacing, which firmly believes in the project that began four years ago. “Since 2019, MotoXRacing has believed in the women’s project and created this championship in 2020 despite the difficulties dictated by Covid restrictions”, Sandro Carusi, project leader, tells us. “Initially, our commitment was to accommodate as many girls as possible under our structure to let the championship start. Gradually, other teams got involved, and I thank them. We continued to support the girls who were most in need. Martina has always deserved our support”. 

Not only organizers, but also participants: MotoXRacing is fully committed to the championship and prove that by hitting the track. Of course, they went through many difficulties, but the team has always shown great determination. “We had difficulties in preparing for the World Superbike season with a new rider and bike and delays in the delivery of technical updates”, explains Carusi, who, despite this, strongly wanted Martina Guarino on participate in the WEC. “This also led to a delay in Martina’s preparation. But we managed to solve the problems in both contexts thanks to the good relationship that was established with all our riders”.

The human aspect therefore is fundamental in the growth and teamwork. MotoXRacing is proving that it firmly believes in the women’s project, and this is demonstrated by the growth of Martina and the team. Having solid basis in other championships, even world championships, has helped them to be more ready to bet on women: “Certainly the experience gained starting from minor championships up to the world championship in a stable way has helped us to make the right choices to organize the WEC in the best way. In fact, we are already considering how to further improve the organization”. 

“We have decided to field Martina in both the WEC and the CIV Women’s to get her back in top condition. The aim is to finish in the Top 10 in the European Championship and in the Top 5 in the Italian one”, says Sandro Carusi looking ahead to the remaining races of the season. The commitment is huge, but there is certainly no lack of will and determination to end 2023 in a positive way.

The future is just around the corner and the plans for next year are already starting to take shape: “The current program we already confirmed is to consolidate both championships (WEC and CIV) and also to support other girls who will need it. Probably there will be some other motorbike brand interested in entering the WEC. Our involvement also at world level is not excluded, but this is still to be defined”. 

The MotoXRacing team proves that dreams can come true and with hard work and willpower you can go far. What once seemed impossible is now real and this helps to keep believing in your projects.

WEC meets…MotoXRacing – “Crediamo da sempre in questo progetto”

Credere e investire nel futuro, tuffandosi in progetti che diventano una grande realtà: questo è MotoXRacing, che corre nella Women’s European Championship con Martina Guarino, aiutandola a realizzare i propri sogni. La squadra, capitanata da Sandro Carusi, gioca un ruolo fondamentale all’interno del campionato e ne fa parte lavorando sodo per costruire delle basi solide affinché le donne trovino il loro spazio nel motorsport. 

L’impegno nella WEC è decisamente importante per MotoXRacing, che crede fermamente nel progetto nato ormai quattro anni fa. “MotoXRacing ha creduto sin dal 2019 nel progetto femminile tanto da creare questo campionato nel 2020 nonostante le difficoltà dettate dalle restrizioni Covid”, ci racconta Sandro Carusi, leader del progetto. “Inizialmente il nostro impegno è stato quello di ospitare più ragazze possibili sotto la nostra struttura per far partire il campionato. Man mano sono stati coinvolti altri team, che ringrazio, e abbiamo continuato a sostenere le ragazze più in difficoltà. Martina ha sempre meritato il nostro supporto”. 

Non solo organizzatori, ma anche partecipanti: MotoXRacing si impegna al massimo nel campionato e lo fa scendendo in pista. Certo, le difficoltà non mancano, ma la squadra ha sempre mostrato una grande determinazione. “Abbiamo avuto difficoltà nel preparare al meglio la stagione del mondiale Superbike con pilota e moto nuovi e ritardi nelle consegne degli aggiornamenti tecnici”, spiega Carusi, che, nonostante ciò, ha fortemente voluto in pista Martina Guarino nella WEC. “Questo ha determinato anche un ritardo sulla preparazione di Martina. Successivamente siamo riusciti a risolvere i problemi in entrambe i contesti grazie al buon rapporto che si è instaurato con i rispettivi piloti”.

L’aspetto umano si rivela dunque fondamentale nella crescita e nel lavoro di squadra. MotoXRacing sta dando prova di credere fermamente nel progetto femminile e lo dimostra la crescita di Martina e del team. Avere basi solide in altri campionati, anche mondiali, ha aiutato ad essere più pronti a puntare sulle donne: “Sicuramente l’esperienza maturata a partire da campionati minori fino ad arrivare al mondiale in maniera stabile ci ha aiutato a fare le scelte giuste per organizzare al meglio anche la WEC. Infatti, stiamo già valutando come migliorare ancora l’organizzazione”.

“Abbiamo deciso di schierare Martina sia nella WEC che nel CIV Femminile per farle recuperare una condizione ottimale. L’obiettivo è di classificarsi nella Top 10 nell’europeo e nella Top 5 nell’italiano”, afferma Sandro Carusi guardando alle restanti gare della stagione. L’impegno è grande, ma di certo non mancano la volontà e la determinazione per concludere il 2023 in maniera positiva. 

Il futuro è dietro l’angolo e i piani per il prossimo anno iniziano già a delinearsi: “Il programma attuale già confermato prevede di consolidare entrambi i campionati (WEC e CIV) e di supportare anche altre ragazze che avranno bisogno. Probabilmente ci sarà qualche altro marchio di moto interessato ad entrare nella WEC. Non è escluso un nostro coinvolgimento anche a livello mondiale ma questo è ancora da definire”. 

Il team MotoXRacing dimostra come i sogni possano diventare realtà e con il lavoro e la forza di volontà si possa arrivare lontano. Ciò che un tempo sembrava impossibile, oggi è reale e aiuta a continuare a credere nei propri progetti.
