The Autodrom Most has a new queen: Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) triumphs in Race 1 despite a tricky start and wins with some advantage in Saturday’s Women’s European Championship. The reigning champion dominated the first race where many crashes had place, but fortunately every rider is ok.
In Race 1 of the WEC Libe Most Round Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) was second even though she was just over 5 seconds behind the winner. Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA), who started from the sixth position, bounced back and got the podium with a third place.
Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) finished in fourth position ahead of Patrycja Sowa (Sowa Racing), fifth. Isis Carreño (GP3 AD11) crashed out in the early laps when she was in the lead and bounced back to gain the sixth position. The Chilean was ahead of Lena Kemmer (Bertkl Racing), seventh, and team mate Beatrice Barbera (GP3 AD11), who was the last rider to the chequered flag in eight position.
It was a difficult Race 1 for Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) and Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse): the Abruzzese rider had an highside and was hit by sara. Both retired from the race, but they are ok, luckily. Jessica Howden (Trasimeno) also crashed because of the loss of her bike chain, while Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing) retired on the last lap due to a technical problem.

“The race at the beginning was strange, the lights were too fast, and I didn’t really understand what happened. The first lap was crazy, but in the end, I won and I am happy. I want to thank the team and everyone. Most Circuit is beautiful, I am sorry for the crashes of the other riders, tomorrow will be better”.
Natalia Rivera – 2nd position
“The qualifying was complicated because in Q1 I didn’t go on track and in Q2 I struggled. But we managed to be second in the race. We are very happy, the team made a great job. Tomorrow we want to go even better!”.
Aurelia Cruciani – 3rd position
“I’m happy with the result, I’m very sorry for the fall of Cabrini and Ponziani, I hope they are OK. It was a good race, congratulations to Natalia for her second place. I knew I had more than her, but she was good at closing in every corner. I’m happy with third place, tomorrow we’ll try it again”.
The first race is over too, but the action starts again tomorrow: the Libe Most Round will end on Sunday with Race 2, which will start at 9:45.

Santos trionfa in Gara 1 del Libe Most Round
Il Circuito di Most ha una nuova regina: Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) trionfa in Gara 1 nonostante una partenza complicata e vince con distacco nel sabato della Women’s European Championship. La campionessa in carica domina la prima manche caratterizzata da tante cadute, fortunatamente senza conseguenze.
In Gara 1 del Libe Most Round della Women’s European Championship, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) è seconda anche se paga un distacco di poco più di 5 secondi dalla vincitrice. Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA) rimonta dalla sesta posizione e sale sul podio con un terzo posto.
Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) chiude in quarta posizione davanti a Patrycja Sowa (Sowa Racing), quinta. Isis Carreño (GP3 AD11) cade nei primi giri quando è in testa e rimonta fino alla sesta posizione. La cilena precede Lena Kemmer (Bertkl Racing), settima, e la compagna di squadra Beatrice Barbera (GP3 AD11), ottava e ultima alla bandiera a scacchi.
Gara 1 difficile per Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) e Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse): la pilota abruzzese ha avuto un highside ed è stata colpita dalla toscana. Entrambe si sono ritirate, ma stanno bene. Scivolata anche per Jessica Howden (Trasimeno) che ha perso la catena, mentre Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing) si ritira all’ultimo giro per un problema tecnico.

“La gara all’inizio è stata strana, il semaforo è stato troppo veloce e non ho capito bene cosa è successo. Il primo giro è stato pazzo, ma alla fine ho vinto, sono contenta. Voglio ringraziare il team e tutti. Most è bellissima, mi dispiace per le cadute delle altre, domani andrà meglio”.
Natalia Rivera – 2^ posizione
“La qualifica è stata complicata perché nella Q1 non sono scesa in pista e nella Q2 ho faticato. Ma siamo riusciti a chiudere la gara in seconda posizione. Siamo molto contenti, il team ha fatto un grande lavoro. Domani ancora meglio!”.
Aurelia Cruciani – 3^ posizione
“Sono contenta del risultato, mi dispiace molto per la caduta di Cabrini e Ponziani, spero stiano bene. È stata una bella gara, faccio i complimenti a Natalia per il secondo posto. Sapevo di averne di più ma lei è stata brava a chiudere gli ingressi. Sono contenta del terzo posto, domani ci riproviamo”.
Anche Gara 1 è terminata, ma l’azione ricomincia domani: il Libe Most Round si concluderà domenica con Gara 2, che partirà alle ore 9:45.
