The Libe Most Round of the Women’s European Championship comes to an end, dominated by Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team). In the Czech Republic, the reigning champion signed the double by leading Race 2 from the lights to the chequered flag and leaving behind her a heated fight for the remaining two podium positions.
In a Race 2 full of battles, Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) came out on top of the group chasing the podium, made up of four riders separated by more than two tenths. The Spaniard was second and ahead of her team-mate Jessica Howden (Trasimeno). The South African achieved her best result of the season and got the podium for the first time in 2023.
By only 60 thousandths, Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) was fourth, but redeemed herself after the tremendous crash in Race 1. Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse), who also crashed yesterday, was fifth ahead of Isis Carreño (GP3 AD11), sixth. Behind the Chilean, Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA) was seventh at the finish line. Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) was eighth and more distant from her rivals. Beatrice Barbera (GP3 AD11) and Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing) are ninth and tenth respectively, closing the top 10 group.
It was a difficult Race 2 for Mia Rusthen (Trasimeno), eleventh. Lena Kemmer (Bertkl Racing) had to retire due to a technical problem with her bike and she didn’t get to see the chequered flag. Maria Saluste (Saluste) and Patrycja Sowa (Sowa Racing) didn’t start, their Libe Most Round ended yesterday after Race 1 for some technical problems.
Beatriz Neila Santos – winner
“The race was great, I did it very well from the start. I completed four laps with the same time, in low-50s! I am super happy, I want to thank the whole team and all my family who are here with me”.
Natalia Rivera – 2nd position
“It was quite a hard-fought race, we were many girls fighting for the podium. But in the end we managed to get what we wanted, which was second place. I thank the team and everyone who supports me.
Jessica Howden – 3rd position
“The race was good, we fought a lot with Ponziani, Cabrini and Natalia. On the last lap I didn’t care at all, I pushed and now I am happy with my result”.
Chequered flag also on the Libe Most Round! Now it’s time to heading home to recharge the batteries before strating again! The WEC is back in action in Brno, Czech Republic, from the 14th to 16th July!

Santos vince in fuga su Rivera e Howden e fa doppietta al Libe Most Round
Si conclude nel segno di Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) il Libe Most Round della Women’s European Championship. In Repubblica Ceca, la campionessa in carica firma la doppietta dominando dal semaforo alla bandiera a scacchi e lasciando dietro di sé un’accesa lotta per le restanti due posizioni del podio.
In una Gara 2 ricca di battaglie, è Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) a spuntarla sul gruppo a caccia del podio formato da quattro pilote racchiuse in poco più di due decimi. La spagnola è seconda e precede la compagna di squadra Jessica Howden (Trasimeno). La sudafricana ottiene il suo miglior risultato in stagione e sale sul podio per la prima volta nel 2023.
Per soli 60 millesimi, Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA) è quarta, ma si riscatta dopo la caduta di ieri. Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse) è quinta e precede Isis Carreño (GP3 AD11), sesta. Alle spalle della cilena troviamo Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA), settima. Più staccata Ran Yochay (Celo Racing), ottava. Chiudono il gruppo delle prime dieci Beatrice Barbera (GP3 AD11) e Martina Guarino (MotoXRacing), nona e decima rispettivamente.
Gara 2 difficile per Mia Rusthen (Trasimeno), undicesima. Lena Kemmer (Bertkl Racing) si ferma per un problema tecnico alla moto e non vede la bandiera a scacchi. Non partire Maria Saluste (Saluste) e Patrycja Sowa (Sowa Racing), che hanno concludo ieri il loro Libe Most Round.

“È stata una gara abbastanza combattuta, eravamo tante ragazze a lottare per il podio. Ma alla fine siamo riusciti a ottenere quello che volevamo, ovvero il secondo posto. Ringrazio il team e tutti quelli che mi sostengono”.
Jessica Howden – 3^ posizione
“La gara è stata buona, abbiamo combattuto tanto con Ponziani, Cabrini e Natalia. All’ultimo giro non mi è importato di nulla, ho spinto e ora sono contenta del mio risultato”.
