The Women’s European Championship qualifying session has concluded at the Misano World Circuit. On pole for Sunday’s race is Natalia Resel Rivera #2 (Team Trasimeno) who confirmed the potential demonstrated during Friday’s practice sessions by setting a best of 1:52:184.
She is followed by Josephine Bruno #80 (Team Gradara), whose fastest time of 1:53.410 saw her reconfirm the position she achieved during FP1. Rounding out the front row is Patricja Sowa #14 (Sowa Racing Team), who will definitely be out to bother her closest rivals in the race.
There is some change among the chasing group, with Beatrice Barbera #94 (GP3 AD11) able to place fourth, followed closely behind by Arianna Barale #41 (MRT Corse), Nicole Ciccilini #11 (Prata Motorsport) and the Team MotoXracing riders Denise Dal Zotto #8 and Silvia Comincioli #93, seventh and eighth respectively. Saidatul Zakirah Zairin #88 (GP3 AD11) and Maria Saluste #77 (Motoclub Sinlind) round out the top ten.
The riders will be out on track tomorrow at 10:30 local time (CET) for the first of the season’s races. The race will be broadcast on the MS Motor TV channel in Italy.

Josephine Bruno 2nd position
“It’s gone well. I wanted to score pole in the WEC too, but I couldn’t quite manage it. Tomorrow I’ll be fighting hard to be up at the front though!”
Patricja Sowa 3rd position
“I’m pleased to have set a personal best and be lining up on the front row for the race, I’m happy with that. It’s all systems go for tomorrow now!”

Natalia Rivera conquista la Pole Position del Motosprint Round
Sono da poco terminate le qualifche per la Women’s European Championship al Misano World Circuit. A conquistare la pole position è stata Natalia Resel Rivera #2 (Team Trasimeno), che con 1:52:184 ha confermato il potenziale dimostrato nelle prove libere del venerdì.
Segue, in secondo posto, Josephine Bruno #80 (Team Gradara). Con il crono di 1:53.410 è riuscita a riconfermare la posizione ottenuta nel primo turno di prove libere. A chiudere la prima fila troviamo Patrycja Sowa #14 (Sowa Racing Team) che cercherà sicuramente di dare fastidio, fin da subito, alle prime due.
Equilibri leggermente cambiati invece nel centro gruppo, dove Beatrice Barbera #94 (GP3 AD11) è riuscita a conquistarsi la quarta posizione. Seguono Arianna Barale #41 (MRT Corse), Nicole Ciccilini #11 (Prata Motorsport) e le due pilote del Team MotoXracing Denise Dal Zotto #8 e Silvia Comincioli #93, rispettivamente in settima e ottava posizione. Chiudono la top ten Saidatul Zakirah Zairin #88 (GP3 AD11) e Maria Saluste #77 (Motoclub Sinlind).
Domani le ragazze scenderanno in pista alle 10:30 per la prima gara dell’anno che sarà visibile su MS Motor TV.
